BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • All applications for hire are at the absolute discretion of the Trustees of the Walker Ground Trust.

  • All prices are correct at the time of quoting and are subject to change without notice. All prices agreed on a confirmed booking with a deposit paid will be honoured.

  • Dates will be confirmed on receipt of a signed booking form and full, non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total cost of the event. The remaining balance required 4 weeks before the event.

  • Should you wish to change the date of your event, it will be at the discretion of the Trustees/Sports Club Manager.

  • Any amendments to the original booking will be agreed in writing with The Walker Ground and the hirer.

  • All events should have an authorised person present to liaise with The Walker Ground team.

  • The Walker Ground and its Bar is a ‘members club’ and members have the right to use the facility during a function. At the time you make your booking, the Manager will advise you in more detail on this arrangement.

  • The hirer is not permitted to bring in any food or drinks of their own. Drinks are to be purchased through The Walker Bar only. Catering is through The Walker Kitchen only unless otherwise agreed with the Trust. In this instance, external catering incurs a fee. All applications are at the absolute discretion of the Trustees of the Walker Ground Trust.

  • The hirer shall be liable for any costs arising from any damage or breakages to property belonging to the Club.

  • The display of decorations within the pavilion is with the approval of the Bar/Catering Manager, who will provide guidelines.

  • If a late licence/bar extension is required, then all music must cease at 12.45am (latest) and the bar will close at 1am (latest) with ‘last orders’ being called 15 minutes prior to closing time. 

  • The hirer should confirm final numbers two weeks before the function.

  • Hiring payment is to be made via Bank Transfer. No cash payments.
