• All applications for hire are at the absolute discretion of the Trustees of the Walker Ground Trust.


  • The Walker Ground and its Bar is a ‘members club’ and members have the right to use the facility during a function.  At the time you make your booking, the Bar/Catering Manager will advise you in more detail on this arrangement.


  • The hirer shall be liable for any costs arising from any damage or breakages to property belonging to the Club. The hirer will provide credit/debit card details as part of the completing the booking form as insurance towards this.


  • The hirer is not permitted to bring in any food or drinks of their own.


  • The display of decorations within the pavilion is with the approval of the Bar/Catering Manager, who will provide guidelines.  Please note, nothing can be attached to the walls.  No tape or blue tack can be used.


  • If a late licence/bar extension is required, then all music must cease at 12.30am (latest) and the bar will close at 1am (latest) with ‘last orders’ being called 15 minutes prior to closing time.


  • The hirer should confirm final numbers two weeks before the function.


  • All balances for venue hire are to be paid 3 months prior to the function.


  • Hiring and catering payment is to be made via Bank Transfer or card (Sorry, no cash).


  • All balances for catering are to be paid 14 days prior to the function.


  • If the hirer cancels the event giving 30-60 days’ notice, then a 50% refund will be given.


  • If the hirer cancels the event giving less than 30 days’ notice, then no refund will be issued.


  • If a refund is agreed upon, then this will be made by The Walker Cricket Ground Trust in 7-10 working days.
