The Walker Ground

Founded in 1855, we are a founder club of the Middlesex County Cricket League, commonly recognised as one of the strongest and most competitive amateur leagues in the country. Ever since John Walker founded the club we have played at The Walker Ground, where facilities and ground are second to none. Widely seen as one of North London’s finest and most beautiful grounds, this is borne out by the fact that Middlesex have recently been using it for a number of their 1st class matches.

We run four Saturday sides and two on Sundays, providing members with both competitive and friendly cricket. The club also takes part in National, Regional, County and Borough cup competitions. We have a thriving Colts section that provides coaching and competitive cricket for over 90 children between the ages of 7 and 15.

We operate an open-door membership policy where everyone, irrespective of sex, age, race or religion are welcomed. Our diverse and varied membership makes for a fun atmosphere and has helped to ensure that the club enjoys an active social side.
